Waxing Preparation

1. Check your skin for irritation, sunburn or breakouts. If you find sensitive areas, treat them and wait until they are healed before making a waxing appointment.
2. Check the length of your hair. The best length for body waxing is 1/2 to 3/4 of an inch. For facial hair, it can be shorter.
3. Please wear loose clothing to avoid skin irritation.
4. Consider a pain reliever. Taking an oral anti-inflammatory an hour before waxing will not only keep the skin from swelling, but it will also alleviate some of the pain. Of course, this is optional and at your discretion.
